My iPod Touch has dust under its glass. Yup. It sure has. How did it get there? Well, I imagine it was somewhere where there might be dust - such as a pocket. I imagine that I am not alone in placing my Touch in a pocket.
Also, I guess, the touch has at least one [...]

Apple are doing a lot of great things. I doubt there would be such a push for touchscreen phones if it weren’t for the iPhone, and if OSX hadn’t shown the world that OS’s don’t need to look clunky there would be no sleek Ubuntu or W7; it’d still look like windows 95. I have [...]

I’ve been thinking about getting a new phone once my current one’s been paid off… I’m on a Telia 18-month plan and it ends in about a month. I’m probably going to stay with Telia; I like their coverage… I was thinking of getting an iPhone, but like you’ve probably noticed, I’m not too happy [...]

I recently got myself an iPod Touch. Not to play music, mind you - my Nokia does that at a lower cost in battery. NO, I got a Touch for the apps. However, the process of using, handling, installing stuff on the Touch has left me less than happy.
So, this is me complaining:
#1. Locked into [...]

So… Got myself a 360 (Arcade, HDMI) a few weeks back. A neat little package. It’ll probably be the second console I won’t chip or crack in any way, unless I can be absolutely certain it won’t affect Live functionality. I don’t care much for playing against others, you see, but I am certainly an [...]

First of all, I’m overall impressed. Much more so than I ever was with Vista. This is truly the XP to Vista’s ME. That being said, of course the sun still has spots, and Windows 7 is so far far from free of fault.

Once again I find myself struggling with this magnificently hellish beast that is the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture. For those of you who don’t know already, ALSA is supposed to be the new wonderful solution to sound in Linux; the old OSS has become stagnant and, well, old… ALSA is a modern architecture, capable of [...]

Got myself a apsnking new EEE 900 16G a few months back. I’ve been having fun with it ever since. Despite its size, it’s a surprisingly agile and flexible machine, which has provided me endless hours of what I call Fun: mucking around finding “just the right solutions”. You know, the kind of thing most [...]

OK, here’s the deal: I refuse compromise. If I’m going to get a cross between a palmtop computer and a phone, I’m going to insist that it has all the benefits of a really good palmtop and a really good phone, or else I might as well continue to use what I got, which is [...]

Just got my latest project up and running - a 3ghz P4 given to me by my parents. It was in seriously bad condition - incredible amounts of dust and what might be the dumbest cooling solution I’ve ever seen made the beast extremely hesitant to even start, much less run for extended periods of [...]
